Arnaud Boisset accomplished a remarkable feat in the initial descent from Kitzbühel, securing the 9th position, just 1.11 seconds behind Cyprien Sarrazin, despite starting from the 56th and penultimate position.
Displaying immense resilience and character, the Valaisan faced an unexpected obstacle during his first attempt – a stubborn advertising banner forced him to come to a halt after just 30 seconds of racing. Undeterred, he restarted the race over half an hour later and gave it his all, ultimately achieving his first top-10 finish at this level.
"It’s a crazy thing," he exclaimed into the RTS microphone. "I knew I had a good start, and I began on the same basis. But I thought I'd be lucky to finish 25th. It's incredible to get my first top-10 here," Arnaud Boisset expressed with enthusiasm.
